The Dance Factory School of Performing Arts began in Redondo Beach in the fall of 1989 as the South Bay Sunray Stars. After 20 years of business in Lomita we’ve moved to Rancho Palos Verdes to the Terraces; which provides an excellent location for a dance studio where we can call home.

We are excited to announce The Dance Factory is under new ownership!  Julianne Thompson has been a part of the TDF team for five years and is ecstatic her dream of owning a dance studio has come true with the wonderful family of The Dance Factory School of Performing Arts. 

The Dance Factory School of Performing Arts offers an abundance of classes. Ages two through eighteen can enjoy styles such as Jazz, Tap, Ballet, and more. We have three different levels of commitment: recreational, performance, and competitive.  From the hours of three to nine during the weekdays, for the convenience of the clients, we provide the best dance training around.  Our talented staff welcomes students into a safe and friendly environment.  Parents have the pleasure of the surrounding stores, food service, or gym.  Families are very pleased to find there is a martial arts studio just one building away for the brothers and sisters of the dancers here at The Dance Factory.
