The Dance Factory

Our History

The Dance Factory is celebrating 35 years in business! It began in the fall of 1989 as the South Bay Sunray Stars. After 20 years of residency in Lomita, we moved to Rancho Palos Verdes, our home for the last 13 years. In September 2020, The Dance Factory moved in with San Pedro Ballet School. We are excited to be a part of this new era, where 2 dance schools are in 1 location, creating an opportunity for everyone!

The Dance Factory has trained dancers who earned college dance scholarships, toured with professional dance companies, became professional sports cheerleaders, continued on as dance teachers, and more! The best part of The Dance Factory's history is the life-long friends gained and the memories made.
